New Mill 94 Reserves 1 Vs Shelley Reserves 13. Saturday 25th September 2010

The art of a good second team is to be able to adapt as team despite envitable changes and for Shelley once again there were several changes. Carl Tyler moved to right midfield to accommodate James Walters. Liam Hallam and Sam Taylor also came in after moving down from the first team squad last week. Matt Wilson saw little action in the Shelley goal as it was one way traffic. Sanders and Taylor caused constant problem and Thorpe and Allen dominated the midfield. The goals flowed and by half time it was 9-0. The disappointing thing of the day is Shelley for a brief ten minute period dropped their standards and became quite ragged. The introduction of Vatani seemed to liven up things though and Shelley coasted through to a 13-1 victory. Dan Robinson won't have too many complaints with his team. 26 goals in the last two games and it certainly could have been more. It was very disappointing to concede on Saturday but with a reverse fixture on saturday with New Mill at home Shelley will hope for another zero in the goals against.

Team: Wilson, Walters, Robinson, O'Connor, Halton, Tyler, Allen, Thorpe (Dignan), Hallam (Butterfield), Sanders (Vatani), Taylor
